The order to beat the bosses
Start with 3 bosses
Glurch → Ghorm → Malugaz. Use the Glurch Eye, Ghorm's Horn and Stolen Crystal Heart they drop on the statues around the Core to open the way beyond the Great Wall.
Then the 3 Titans
Beat Azeos the Sky Titan (Azeos' Wilderness), Omoroth the Sea Titan (The Sunken Sea) and Ra-Akar the Sand Titan (The Desert of Beginnings) in that order as you move through the biomes.
Other bosses depend on your gear
The Hive Mother is not required for the story. Ivy, Morpha, Igneous and the rest can wait until your gear is ready.

This order is our recommendation (following the biome order, with story bosses first). "Story" shows whether the boss must be beaten to progress the story; anything we have not verified is marked "Not confirmed".
Why this order (biomes and gear tiers)
- Biomes get harder in order: The Undergrounds (Copper) → The Clay Caves (Tin) → The Forgotten Ruins (Iron) → Azeos' Wilderness (Scarlet) → The Sunken Sea (Octarine) → The Desert of Beginnings (Galaxite). Rebuild your gear from each new biome's materials as you go.
- The first 3 bosses drop "keys": use the Glurch Eye, Ghorm's Horn and Stolen Crystal Heart on the statues above, left and right of the Core. Each statue activates, and once all 3 are in place you can go beyond the Great Wall.
- Finding bosses: some bosses can be located with a scanner (boss scanners, boss list).
Bosses with no set order (optional and late game)
We do not set a recommended order for these bosses. Fight them once you reach their biome and your gear is ready.

Track your progress boss by boss
Our progression checklist (What to do next) lets you tick off bosses you have beaten and updates the next boss and recommended gear. See each boss page for how to beat it.
