How to get Phantom Spark (step by step)

  1. Get the recipe, the Glyph Parchment, from the giant chest in the Glyph Parchment Treasury (it is always there). The treasury generates about 500 tiles from the Core, so use that distance as a guide on the map.
  2. Collect the three parts: Channeling Gemstone, Fractured Limbs and Energy String (see the table below for where to find them).
  3. With the three parts, 100 Octarine Bar and 20 Ancient Gemstone in your inventory, use the Glyph Parchment to craft it.

Phantom Spark special attack and features

  • Fires legendary energy bolts.
  • Killing an enemy on walkable ground has a 20% chance to summon a ghostly Caveling scholar for a while. It heals you and fights alongside you, then vanishes after 15 seconds (upgrading does not change the chance).
  • Special attack "Strong Multishot" (hold right-click): fires up to 4 extra bolts depending on how long you charge.
  • It has no durability, so it never breaks (but it cannot be reinforced).
