Core Keeper story progression, step by step

  1. Get set up around the Core: craft tools and sort out a base and food (progression checklist).
  2. Beat three bosses to awaken the Core: place Glurch Eye, Ghorm's Horn and Stolen Crystal Heart on the statues around the Core.
  3. Talk to the Core and open the Great Wall: the awakened Core tells you to “lay thy hand upon the Great Wall and it shall open”. After this first talk, the Souls tab appears next to your Skills tab.
  4. Defeat six Titans and collect their souls: the Core’s hints tell you in which direction each Titan lives (soul powers).
  5. Defeat the Core Commander: with the souls gathered, the Core calls you to “the place where we once set our roots in this world”. After beating the Core Commander, talk to the Core for the ending (the ending).

For the order to fight bosses in, see boss order.
