PS5 FAQ
Q. Can I play with friends on Steam from PS5?
No. The PS5 version can only play with PS5 and PS4.
Q. Can I use mods on PS5?
Mods use the PC-only Steam Workshop and mod.io systems, and we have found no information saying they work on PS5.
Q. Is the PS5 version the same as PC for guides?
Yes. Bosses, items and recipes are the same on every platform, so everything on this site applies.
Platform support and prices can change with updates and sales. Checked in November 2026. Which players can join each other comes from the game’s own text (Core Keeper 1.3.0.6): the “Multiplayer connectivity” setting (Steam only, Epic only, GOG only, Microsoft only, All PC players) and the in-game patch note “The game currently does not support crossplay between PC and consoles.” Release dates, player counts and prices come from the platform stores and the publisher’s launch announcements.
