Summary

How to build a summoner build

  1. Switch weapons at each stage

Swap to stronger weapons in the early, mid and late game (weapons by stage).

  2. Prioritize Summoning talents

Start with talents that raise attack speed and damage, then secure max health with the Vitality skill (talent order).

  3. Gear up with minion gear

The strongest late-game combination is on the best minion gear setup page.

Weapons to use at each stage of a summoner build

For each base-level range, these have the highest damage per second from one minion. Use whatever you get first, then switch to stronger ones.

Early game (base Lv.1–5)

Mid game (base Lv.6–12)

Damage per second uses our damage formula (not an official formula; based on community research on wikis and forums).

How to play a summoner build

  • Each minion attacks on its own, so raising your max minion count helps the most (best minions).
  • Your own all-damage and crit bonuses do not apply to minions. Choose minion-specific stats.
  • The Withered Scepter curses enemies so they take more damage from minions (Warlock).
