SKILL BUILDS

Best Skill Builds in Core Keeper: Talent Priority for Each Build

Which skill talents to take first for melee, ranged, magic, summon and mining builds, and how skills and talents work.

Data: the game files (version 1.3.0.6)

Summary

How should you spend skill points?

  1. First, in the skill for your playstyle (melee, ranged, magic or summon), take the talents that raise attack speed and damage.

  2. Next, secure max health with the Vitality skill. Every build needs to be able to take a hit.

  3. Spend leftover points on talents that make exploring easier, such as Mining and Running.

How skills and talents work

  • Skills level up as you use them. Digging, running, fighting in melee and so on each raise the matching skill. How to level each one is on the skills list.
  • Leveling up gives talent points. Spend them on that skill's talents. A talent's effect grows with the number of points you put in.
