Where Cocoon spawns and how to find it

How to find Cocoon
- It comes back during spawn events after you kill it. However, it does not spawn within 6 tiles of a player, and placing blocks, walls, furniture or torches on the ground stops it from spawning there.
- Lay Chrysalis near your base to spawn it on purpose (spawning tile chances and layouts).
- It is already placed in the scenes (buildings, ruins and so on) listed below when the world is generated.
Scenes where Cocoon is placed from the start
- Medium Larva Territory (The Clay Caves)
- Caveling Barn
- Abandoned Clay Mineshaft (The Clay Caves)
Chances are per tile that meets the conditions. World generation and spawn events are from the spawn settings in the game's configuration files (Conf/Spawn, Core Keeper 1.3.0.6). Spawning near the player and the scenes it is placed in are from the Core Keeper Wiki (Fandom) Module:Spawns/data and SceneInfo (CC BY-SA 3.0); the spawn-event interval and the 6-tile rule are from the Wiki's "Spawning tiles" and "Mob farming" guides.
Cocoon attacks and damage
The game data has no attack for this enemy (it does not attack on its own, or its attack has no damage value).
Cocoon drops (items you get for killing it)
| Item | Amount | Chance |

| 1 | 23.5% | |
| 1 | 0.99% |
The chance is the chance that at least one of the item drops when you kill one enemy (combining the 1–2 roll(s) of the drop table per kill). The guaranteed group is a group from which exactly one item always drops. Only items that always drop are marked "Guaranteed". Calculated from the drop tables in the game's configuration files (Conf/Loot, Core Keeper 1.3.0.6) the same way the game rolls them.
Other enemies in The Clay Caves
Health, level and immunities are read from the game's prefabs (Core Keeper 1.3.0.6). Attack damage is calculated from the enemy's level and each attack's multiplier with the game's own formula (Normal difficulty). Names are the game's official English.
