Tools Common
Bucketバケツ
A bucket. The clever solution to transporting liquids.
In-game description
What is Bucket? Features and uses
Bucket is a common item in Core Keeper (Tools). It is crafted at the Iron Workbench from Iron Bar ×10.
Bucket key points (from the game data)
- Sells to merchants for 59 Ancient Coins.
Calculated and summarized by this site from the game data (1.3.0.6).
Bucket notes
- An empty Bucket can scoop up a liquid tile.
- A filled Bucket can be emptied into a pit or used to swap out the liquid on an existing tile.
- Scooping does not use up the liquid, so a single tile can fill a Bucket again and again.
- Pouring plain water from a Bucket onto tilled soil counts as watering, leaving the Bucket empty.
- Buckets of acid water, mold water, seawater, lava, shimmering water or dirty water can water tilled soil the same way.
- Since filling a Bucket never drains the source, you only need one trip to collect a liquid from a particular place.
- Pour a Bucket into a pit, and you can refill from that new liquid tile as often as you like.
- Plain water is found in The Undergrounds, The Clay Caves, The Forgotten Ruins, Azeos' Wilderness and The Desert of Beginnings.
- Each of those biomes has its own fish in plain water, but moving water elsewhere does not bring the original biome's catches with it.
- What you catch in plain water depends on the biome you are currently in.
- Like the Watering Can, the Bucket can be filled from a Water Well.
- Water Wells and Wash Basins give plain water; a Mold Well gives mold water.
- Filling from a Water Well replaces whatever liquid the Bucket already held.

What you get from salvaging Bucket (Salvage and Repair Station)
Bucket can be salvaged. Salvaging it gives the following items.
For each material, the amount is "amount used to craft × 0.49 (lower when durability is down, 0.3 at 0 durability) × the item's multiplier", and a fraction is the chance of one more (2.4 means 2, with a 40% chance of 3). The range is from 0 durability to full durability (items without durability always count as full). Scrap parts are a fixed number set by the item level. All items that can be salvaged are listed in salvaging.
