Room requirements for merchants
- Enclose it with walls: leave no gaps. Doors count as walls.
- 64 tiles or less inside: 8×8 is one shape that hits the limit exactly (any shape works).
- Place a bed: anywhere in the room. It can be the same bed you use as your respawn point.
- At least 1 free floor tile: this is where the merchant appears. Don't block it with furniture.
- Lights and doors are optional.
For step-by-step building see how to build a house (room).
How merchant stock refreshes
Merchants have limited stock, which refills every 25-35 minutes (it varies by merchant). Activating the Ghorm statue, the Malugaz statue or the Core, or defeating the Core Commander for the first time, refills every merchant's stock immediately.
