How the Logic Circuit works
2
Outputs with 2 inputs
When exactly 2 of its inputs are powered, power comes out of the output.
1 / 3
Nothing with 1 or 3
With 1 or 3 powered inputs, there is no output.
Change its behavior with an electricity stick
Put an Electricity Stick on one input and that input is always on, so the behavior depends on how many other inputs are powered.
Logic circuit rules
| Powered inputs | Output |
|---|---|
| 0 | Off |
| 1 | Off |
| 2 | On (strength based on the strength of the two inputs) |
| 3 | Off |
Power that arrives at strength 1 isn't counted as an input. However, power from an electricity stick, which is strength 1 to begin with, does count.
Example uses of the logic circuit
- Put one electricity stick on it: with a stick on one input, the circuit outputs only when one other input is powered (adding one switch turns it on).
- Boost a weak signal: connect a generator to one input and the weakened signal to another, and the output is stronger.
- Test small: change the inputs one at a time and check the output before wiring it into a big circuit.
Other circuits
| Circuit | What it does |
|---|---|
| Lets crossing wires pass without connecting. Rotate it while holding it to change direction | |
| Delays the signal. Chain several for a longer delay | |
| Outputs with 2 inputs (table above) |
