Summary

What are echo-maps?

  1. 9 types

    Reveal a specific structure

Using one marks the location of a specific structure (scene) on your map. Each echo-map points to a different structure.

  2. Dropped by bosses

Bosses drop echo-maps for structures you have not scanned yet.

  3. Consumed only on success

A scan takes 2 seconds, and the echo-map is only used up when the scan succeeds.

  3. Open the map and head for the marker.

To find a boss instead, use a boss scanner.
