Summary

How keys work

  1. Put the key in the matching lock

A key opens a chest or door when you place it in its key slot. The key is used up.

  2. 7 types

    Metal keys can be crafted

Copper, iron, scarlet, octarine, galaxite, solarite and relucite keys are crafted at the Key Casting Table.

  3. Special keys come from bosses and more

Boss treasures (such as Azeos' feather fan), the obsidian door key and the admin key each open only one specific thing.
