There are 10 ores
Found in each biome's walls
Each ore is found in a specific wall block (dirt = copper, clay = tin, stone = iron and so on). Ore veins sparkle white in the dark, so they are easy to spot.
Gold anywhere, but rare
Gold ore can rarely appear in any type of block. Pandorium comes from pandorium crystals, not from walls.
1,800 ore
Mine ore boulders in bulk
Mining an ore boulder with drills gives 1,800 ore per boulder (ore boulders).
List of ores (wall block, biome and bar)
"Main biome" is the biome where that block is most common (this site's mapping). Where ore boulders spawn is listed on the ore boulder page.
Tips for finding ore
- Look for white sparkles: walls with ore in them glow white in the dark.
- Sand blocks too: ore can also be in sand blocks near its usual block.
- Ancient gemstones: rarely found in any block (there is no boulder for them, and they do not become bars).
- If you cannot mine it: each wall needs a certain amount of mining damage (wall block durability).
For all materials including ores and bars, see the materials list.
