Racing Saddleレーシングサドル
Turns your cattle into a fast rideable mount until you take the saddle off.
In-game description
How to use Racing Saddle
Racing Saddle turns cattle into a mount that is faster than with a normal Saddle.
- Hold Racing Saddle and use it on an adult animal.
- It becomes a mount. Take the saddle off from the mount menu in your inventory to turn it back into cattle.
Riding speed is the mount's own speed ×1.10 with this saddle, compared with ×0.95 with a normal Saddle. Putting a different saddle on a mount swaps them and gives the old saddle back to you.
Racing Saddle key points (from the game data)
- Sells to merchants for 194 Ancient Coins.
Calculated and summarized by this site from the game data (1.3.0.6).
Racing Saddle mechanics (checked against the game data)
- The Racing Saddle makes the mount 1.1 times faster while you ride.
Written by this site from values in the game files (1.3.0.6 prefabs and configuration files).
Racing Saddle notes
- Using the saddle on a grown animal (not a baby) makes that animal rideable.
- The inventory screen shows a mount menu while you ride; removing the saddle there turns the animal back into cattle.
- Unsaddled animals can wander, so keep a Leash or Cattle Transport Box handy before you take the saddle off.
- This multiplier stacks multiplicatively with the mount's own speed multiplier.
- Using a different saddle on a mount swaps the saddles and gives the old one back to you.
- Removing the saddle gives it back to you and turns the animal back into cattle.
- Putting a saddle on or taking it off does not change the animal's name or color.
These notes cover behavior that the game files do not show directly. They are based on facts from the Core Keeper Wiki (Fandom) page "Racing Saddle" (CC BY-SA 3.0), rewritten in this site's own words.

What you get from salvaging Racing Saddle (Salvage and Repair Station)
Racing Saddle can be salvaged. Salvaging it gives the following items.
For each material, the amount is "amount used to craft × 0.49 (lower when durability is down, 0.3 at 0 durability) × the item's multiplier", and a fraction is the chance of one more (2.4 means 2, with a 40% chance of 3). The range is from 0 durability to full durability (items without durability always count as full). Scrap parts are a fixed number set by the item level. All items that can be salvaged are listed in salvaging.
