Cartography Table is a common item in Core Keeper (Placeables & furniture). It is crafted at the Iron Workbench from Plank ×40, Iron Bar ×10.
Cartography Table key points (from the game data)
- Size when placed: 2×2 tiles.
- Sells to merchants for 93 Ancient Coins.
Calculated and summarized by this site from the game data (1.3.0.6).
Cartography Table notes
- Using it opens a map shared by the whole server.
- Each player who uses it adds their own map progress, and others can copy that progress onto their own map.
- Sharing has a 30-second cooldown.
- You can still open the map during the cooldown, but using it again does not start another share.
- Because of a bug, two players using it at the same moment closes the multiplayer session and shows the game ID as 'none'.
- Returning to the main menu and reopening the world creates a new game ID.
These notes cover behavior that the game files do not show directly. They are based on facts from the Core Keeper Wiki (Fandom) page "Cartography Table" (CC BY-SA 3.0), rewritten in this site's own words.

What you get from salvaging Cartography Table (Salvage and Repair Station)
Cartography Table can be salvaged. Salvaging it gives the following items.
For each material, the amount is "amount used to craft × 0.49 (lower when durability is down, 0.3 at 0 durability) × the item's multiplier", and a fraction is the chance of one more (2.4 means 2, with a 40% chance of 3). The range is from 0 durability to full durability (items without durability always count as full). Scrap parts are a fixed number set by the item level. All items that can be salvaged are listed in salvaging.
