Unless a note on the page says otherwise, numbers are read from the game files of Core Keeper 1.3.0.6 (prefabs, configuration files, drop tables and the game's program) and calculated by this site, including upgraded (per-level) values, sell prices and mana costs. Names and descriptions are the game's official English text. Only reinforcing materials, minion and pet attacks and some food values are based on the Core Keeper Wiki (Fandom) data (CC BY-SA 3.0). What is Larva Helm? Features and uses
Larva Helm is a rare item in Core Keeper (Helmets). Its base level is 8, and it gives +20 max health and more. It can be obtained from The Hive Mother, Hive Dungeon.
Larva Helm key points (from the game data)
- Upgrading to level 20 raises its effects: +20 max health → +50, +10 armor → +25, +26 mining damage → +129.
- Upgrading from level 8 to 20 costs 4,242 Ancient Coins plus bars.
- Durability: 90. Reinforcing it at the Salvage and Repair Station doubles durability.
- Part of a 2-piece set. Wearing 2 pieces gives "Disguised as a larva".
- Best source: The Hive Mother — 23.4% chance per kill.
- Sells to merchants for 12 Ancient Coins.
Calculated and summarized by this site from the game data (1.3.0.6).
What you get from salvaging Larva Helm (Salvage and Repair Station)
Larva Helm can be salvaged. Salvaging it gives the following items.
For each material, the amount is "amount used to craft × 0.49 (lower when durability is down, 0.3 at 0 durability) × the item's multiplier", and a fraction is the chance of one more (2.4 means 2, with a 40% chance of 3). The range is from 0 durability to full durability (items without durability always count as full). Scrap parts are a fixed number set by the item level. All items that can be salvaged are listed in salvaging.
How to get Larva Helm (Boss drop, Chests & pedestals)
Boss drop (1) Chests & pedestals (1)
| Source | Type | Biome | Amount | Chance |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| The Hive Mother | Boss drop | The Clay Caves | 1 | 23.4%12% from the guaranteed group, 2.7% per regular roll |
| Larva Hive Chest | Chests & pedestals | The Clay Caves | 1 | 5.5% |
"Chance" is the chance to get at least one of this item per try (opening one chest, defeating one enemy, one catch). A "guaranteed group" is the group of a chest or boss from which exactly one item always drops; it does not mean this item always drops (the chance of it being picked from that group is shown in small text). Only items that always drop are marked "Guaranteed". Fishing means catches with a fishing rod, separate from enemy and boss drops. Calculated from the game's drop tables (Conf/Loot, 1.3.0.6) the same way the game rolls them.
