Rift Lens notes
- Pressing the button teleports you up to 4 tiles in the direction you are moving, or the way you are facing if you stand still.
- You cannot teleport through walls or most objects, but you can hop over pits, liquids and low obstacles such as fences, wood and some breakable objects.
- Pits and water are not valid landing spots, so crossing them needs solid ground within range.
These notes cover behavior that the game files do not show directly. They are based on facts from the Core Keeper Wiki (Fandom) page "Rift Lens" (CC BY-SA 3.0), rewritten in this site's own words.
What you get from salvaging Rift Lens (Salvage and Repair Station)
Rift Lens can be salvaged. Salvaging it gives the following items.
For each material, the amount is "amount used to craft × 0.49 (lower when durability is down, 0.3 at 0 durability) × the item's multiplier", and a fraction is the chance of one more (2.4 means 2, with a 40% chance of 3). The range is from 0 durability to full durability (items without durability always count as full). Scrap parts are a fixed number set by the item level. All items that can be salvaged are listed in salvaging.
How to get Rift Lens (Boss drop, Chests & pedestals)
Boss drop (2) Chests & pedestals (1)
| Source | Type | Biome | Amount | Chance |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Malugaz the Corrupted | Boss drop | The Forgotten Ruins | 1 | 17.4% |
| The Hive Mother | Boss drop | The Clay Caves | 1 | 16.1%8% from the guaranteed group, 1.8% per regular roll |
| Iron Chest | Chests & pedestals | The Clay Caves, The Forgotten Ruins | 1 | 3.8%3.3% from the guaranteed group, 0.12% per regular roll |
"Chance" is the chance to get at least one of this item per try (opening one chest, defeating one enemy, one catch). A "guaranteed group" is the group of a chest or boss from which exactly one item always drops; it does not mean this item always drops (the chance of it being picked from that group is shown in small text). Only items that always drop are marked "Guaranteed". Fishing means catches with a fishing rod, separate from enemy and boss drops. Calculated from the game's drop tables (Conf/Loot, 1.3.0.6) the same way the game rolls them.
