What is Blowpipe? Features and uses

Blowpipe is an uncommon item in Core Keeper (Ranged & magic weapons). Its base level is 10 and it deals 118–144 ranged damage (225–275 at level 20). It can be obtained from Mold Dungeon Chest, World Chest Nature, Large Mold (breakable object) and 2 other sources.

Blowpipe key points (from the game data)

  • Upgrading to level 20 raises its effects: +16% chance to apply poison on hit, which reduces enemy healing received by 75% → +27%.
  • Upgrading from level 10 to 20 costs 3,848 Ancient Coins plus bars.
  • Durability: 250. Reinforcing it at the Salvage and Repair Station doubles durability.
  • Best source: Mold Dungeon Chest — 21.7% chance per roll.
  • Sells to merchants for 24 Ancient Coins.

What you get from salvaging Blowpipe (Salvage and Repair Station)

Blowpipe can be salvaged. Salvaging it gives the following items.

For each material, the amount is "amount used to craft × 0.49 (lower when durability is down, 0.3 at 0 durability) × the item's multiplier", and a fraction is the chance of one more (2.4 means 2, with a 40% chance of 3). The range is from 0 durability to full durability (items without durability always count as full). Scrap parts are a fixed number set by the item level. All items that can be salvaged are listed in salvaging.

How to get Blowpipe (Enemy drop, Chests & pedestals, Breakable objects)

Mold Tentacle Enemy drop Mold Dungeon 1 1.4%
Infected Caveling Enemy drop Mold Dungeon 1 0.43%

Chest (Azeos' Wilderness) Chests & pedestals Azeos' Wilderness 1 6.4%
Large Mold Vessel Breakable objects Mold Dungeon 1 2.4%

* "Chest (Azeos' Wilderness)": provisional names. The in-game name has not been confirmed, so this site named the source after its internal name in the drop tables.

"Chance" is the chance to get at least one of this item per try (opening one chest, defeating one enemy, one catch). A "guaranteed group" is the group of a chest or boss from which exactly one item always drops; it does not mean this item always drops (the chance of it being picked from that group is shown in small text). Only items that always drop are marked "Guaranteed". Fishing means catches with a fishing rod, separate from enemy and boss drops. Calculated from the game's drop tables (Conf/Loot, 1.3.0.6) the same way the game rolls them.
